This site will house a collection of my interests in graphic design and enthusiasm for the visual and tactile arts: sketching, painting, textiles and documenting life.  I consider software just another one of the tools at hand.  Here, I share my reconnection with that creative part of me that I have been missing; my projects falling somewhere between craft and design.

The process is what I enjoy: defining a concept, conceiving & envisioning a piece, and executing the plan.  This, to me, is as rewarding (perhaps more so) as realizing the outcome. Many of the mediums I have been away from for some time.  Others will be entirely new to me, as I’m allowing myself (as Julia Cameron says) to be a beginner. 

Inspiration comes in many forms, but the biggest single influence in my life right now is my kids.  So, while this site is not about parenting, or living with children, I’m likely to include lots of visual references to children and their lives in the projects that I produce. There are plans in my head that I cannot wait to dive into and it’s always nice to have company along the way.  I do like good company.
