What I made in 2008: a sampling.
Looking at the collection I see areas where I want to do more, and I see gaps. Large gaps between what is in my mind and the outward product of that thinking. The promise of a new year is more than the flip of a calendar. Today I step out in new directions, with the bold placard of 2009 stripping away trepidation. Be fearless. Less thinking; more doing. Cut, assemble, stitch, attend. Put your hands to good work. That is the call.
Today, not tomorrow. I will do something new today.
