Long pants on the boy. Socks. Suede boots. Crisp dried bits of burnt oranges around the edges. Greens turning to gold. It's official. October is here.
The top photo is ideal for Thrifty Thursday, as those Cole Haan boots are a new thrift score. They appear to never have been worn, for just $11. Don't hate me.
And here is the fun sort of laundry: textiles waiting to be cut into a tote. When I purchased the green dot I was inspired by this scarf from Boden. It works for fall doesn't it? Now that I've stared at it for a few weeks I'm thinking it looks more like spring. Either way (maybe it's a good transitional print) I'm cutting into it. The others are from IKEA. I could really use a new bag that doesn't smell of sunscreen. One without tiny bits of sand in the corners no matter how many times it's washed. As if one needs a reason for a new bag. Using the sewing machine is reward in itself, no?
