No one was in the mood for photos around here on Friday after school. We did have movie night though, which did perk everyone up, so I found an image of The Grinch online to include for this day. Green polka dot pattern by Bo Bunny press, stitched on ric rac, and epoxy tag by Making memories.
Here's an update on the Dec. 12th layout. As I mentioned yesterday, the party photos were less than good -- all blurred and dark -- so small was the way to go. The black and tan dot pattern is from the Holly Jolly digital paper pack, at Designer Digitals.
For Sunday's cookie-making feature I totally pulled an Ali. I went looking to her vertically-formatted book for inspiration and this simple format worked well. Also tried making a stitched page protector to contain some pictures and sweet notes that came home from school. Brown snowflake paper: Anna Griffin.
This was a fun detail to make using a piece of felted wool and a circle cut from canvas. Nothing original here, but I'm happy to have tried something new [ to me ]. I could become quite addicted to making custom-sized sleeves now.
