We're home, filled with good food and family love. We are plus one in our household today, as Dash the hamster came to live with us; a gift from Santa via Pet Smart gift card. As we made the long drive home the girls wrote and drew. The song lyrics pictured, written by Joan (8), are one of my favorites. It will, of course, be neatly folded and aptly placed inside our December daily album along with their adorable custom name-cut paper snowflakes made by cousin Claire. As I work my way through color correcting and post-processing the photos I'm struck by how few I've taken. We managed to pack a lot of living into those few days. Tomorrow I just may get to assembling the final pages. I have a plan.
