When I think about updating my wardrobe for autumn I usually begin with leathers: bags, boots, and belts.
Lately I've been wearing dresses over jeans or nice pants. It just works for my body type, age and personal style. There are so many cute belted tunics and dresses out now - perfect transitional pieces to wear now; layer later - but often the belts or ties that come with them leave much to be desired. The whole look is upgraded with a nice quality belt, and I found all of these on thrift outings recently. I really couldn't believe the detail in the one at lower left; so very like Sundance at a fraction of the cost.
Also, you have to see the awesome wrist cuff that Alica made with a thrift-store belt.
