“Goodnight, Papa. Merry Christmas.”
“Do you think I can take my cheetah buddies to heaven with me?”
“I think if you say a special prayer, God might make some accommodation for you and your cheetah buddies.”
“Do you think I have to fill out a form or something?”

There are still a few ears awake to hear, so Santa isn't visiting our house just yet.
We read stories on the Hudson Bay blanket in front of the fireplace before bed. A simple picnic dinner of cresent rolls, carrot sticks, and tiny sausages was finished just before. Everything is easy this year; scaled for kids and we busy parents. It's the moments that matter, not the fuss.
Happy Christmas to all! Blessings of the season to each and every one.
