The humble kitchen table is an indispensible part of our family togetherness. Our meals, plans, learning and growth take form, in part, around this small essential spot.
Now as we plan for what our new home wants to be, we can't deny the need for a table in the kitchen. It is more than an eat-in decision. It's core to time enjoyed in our home.
Yes, we are moving.
We've finished our house.
We've sold our house.
We have purchased a new (old) house (in another state even!) and are making it ready.
After a fairly long silence here, I'm ready to talk about some of the goings on in my life. Resolution has replaced questions, concern, and uncertainly.
Before I get to ahead of the story though, I hope you'll indulge me in some looking back. I've been a little shy about it, for I don't want to be boastful, but my husband's work is worthy to be celebrated and recognized.
A home tour is coming your way.
There won't be an album dedicated to this, I've decided. It's too big. It spans our children's lives, and it's already integrated into every other photo story I've made and will make for this time period. You'll see bits of flooring being installed here; a fireplace chisled there.
Now I feel ready to share that big part of my life with you.

Also, I've been taking photos all of February: those great everyday life shots that make me so happy.
I'm part of the assemblage at Habit throughout this month, and back at flickr more regularly.
